We all need balance in our lives. Our bodies, our minds and our hearts. It can be a real challenge to achieve, especially in such a fast paced, busy world. At Kate Wood Fitness our approach is to help our clients achieve a healthier and more sustainable life balance through structured exercise and training, eating well and committing to rest and recharging. We are focused on helping people feel happier and healthier over the long term. We offer well designed class timetables that are flexible for the busy work, school and family commitments of our many clients.
Indoor classes and sessions are held at either the beautiful new Avalon Surf Club or the Avalon Recreation Centre, both wonderful facilities in a central location. Outdoor classes are taken at a mix of stunning beachside locations from Mona Vale to Palm Beach and Pittwater.
All training programs are designed and run personally by Kate Wood. Kate is a degree qualified and highly experienced Exercise Physiologist with expertise not only in exercise and training but also rehabilitation and treatment. Kate has a passion for helping people feel stronger, more focused, more energetic and to be more efficient in their daily lives.
The majority of Kate Wood classes are group sessions. Kate’s adult classes are suitable for both men and women, with single sex classes offered for Adolescent High Intensity and ‘mixed adolescent’ Surf Fit. Private sessions are available for clients with specific requirements, difficult schedules or those looking to build confidence in advance of joining a group session.
For some it is as simple as coming along to a Kate Wood Fitness class to try it out. Others may need a few personal training sessions to get the body back into the swing of things before committing to our weekly classes.
Either way, we can work together to get you back on track. All classes cater for different fitness levels and we love a challenge to get your healthy self back!
